Wahoo Wearout

used to be 1 wahoo was a blessing…it still is, but this year has been good for the wahoo bite. I’ve got a little hump 3 miles SE of the GH…like finding a swimming pool with a GPS on the moon.

Anyway…start out live baiting for 45 minutes at sun-up…use a little chum…not too much…bump the boat as needed…you should get a hit or two…cuda might rise…rigg up and troll in a figure 8 and don’t crack a beer yet…get the gaff ready. Paradigm thinking here…outside the box.

Tired of the same old trip…don’t be afraid to try it on your boat.

Ryan…still need that lotion spread??

I presume that tuna will be in your swimming pool later this fall as well.

I like it…

LB,All of us “experienced” fishermen know that you can only catch pelagics in deep water with battlewagons trolling med ballyhoo at 6-8kts.Slow-trolling with live bait and chumming are not effective outside of “nearshore” waters where commoners running outboards are prevalent.I,for one, refuse to discuss this propaganda pertaining to said practices.Hopefully, you also will remain mute on this subject.Thank You in advance for your silence.:smiley::smiley:

How much did you pay for your hump? I've been looking for some deep water real estate myself, but haven't found any good agents that specialize in that area.

I will sell you a hump just inshore of the 226 for $5. Or 3 humps for $12.
quit claim and all.

And wrecks are going for 5 bucks a foot I heard…

I tried that too a few years ago and didn’t have any luck, it does work inshore though for Kings and Cudas. A King is good for the smoker, and I give them to my parents and their friends, they aren’t scared of the mercury…I guess when you get their age your arteries and innards are kind of petrified so nothing fazes you :slightly_smiling_face::dizzy_face:

Lotion Bouy…what did you mean when you asked Ryan about a “rub down”? Are you talking about a lotion rub down? I may be mistaken, but I believe there is a “Man Law” somewhere out there advising against that! :sunglasses:

Note to self: never, ever post another picture of myself with no shirt on. Just ■■■■.

There can be all the “Man Laws” you want on land, but after you pass the 3-mile bell buoy, it’s international waters with international flair…and man laws don’t exist.

As far as Ryan’s rubdown goes, I can’t wait to get my hands on that man-hunk. I bought a special lotion just for him and it gets warm and tingles when applied.

See you on the weedline,

I think my buddy knows you.
