Tigerfin, it’s an inboard. Prop is about 2 ft in front of the transom and then the rudder. At the water line there is a 3 ft swim platform across the transom. Can hit the boat, but the prop would be tough.
Easy, I’m not good by any stretch but you can ride for a long time. It is super low impact, only going 11 mph.
My,then 6 year old daughter,got up and rode for the first time last year. My buddy was able to let her ride the board with him so she could see how it felt, she got up her first try by herself. She hasn’t been able to ride for a long time without the rope, but she can do it.

This was her first solo attempt. She got the hang of it pretty quick. This is the only footage I have on my phone though that I could uplaod quick, gopro video said it would take 4 hours to upload.
Edit: this is not how you are supposed to get up, you get up like you would a wake board. She just isn’t quite strong enough to get up that way yet. She wants to work on that this summer!

OFM, I was going to get my 6 year old Grand Daughter into tubing this Summer! I’m going to show her what your Daughter is doing and give her the idea! You have a brave little girl there:smiley: My problem is going to be getting her Daddy, to let her do it:face_with_head_bandage:
Before there were wakeboards, there was “skurfing”. Just use an old board, well waxed and a ski line. Without your feet attached to the board, all the flips and stuff with a wakeboard aren’t possible. But lots of other cool stuff. We could sometimes get some rides on the wake without the line, but not like this.
Of course, I think that’s because we would have like 6 guys in a 15’ boat with a 45HP engine…
