Seems spot on to me. Pointing out what is broken is only a small part of the problem, getting everyone to agree how to fix it is another. Dems want to spend their way out and Repubs want cuts. The truth is, both parties have spent OUR MONEY like drunken sailors (no offense to drunken sailors). When Congress is forced to spend our money like we spend our own money (wisely budgeting from one month to the next, purchasing needs first and luxuries later if money exists), then, and only then will we start to see any improvement in the state of our economy. The saddest part is, things will eventually turn around, prosperity will show it’s face again and the next generation of politicians will repeat the same mistakes, spending money like there is no tomorrow.
Dont you think GE CEO would be a better choice, billions of bailout dollars he received, shipping jobs overseas to avoid government regulations, making light bulbs in Mexico and China so we can be green. Since GE ownes the old NBC, they can report how wonderful they all are. The speach is tonight, if we do a pushup every time he says “invest”, we will all look like Marines ready for battle.

I don’t shop at WM…and I’ll be (**()ed if I buy government-mandated health care, either. Both are a big reason why the US economy will be second to China within the next 10 years.
The best thing that can happen is to vote O out of the White House in 2012, and impose stiff tariffs on Chinese imports. I can’t believe that O met with that communist SOB from China…next thing you know, he’ll be having a threesome with Ahmadinejad and Chavez…

If our governement would simply cut all the BS “staffer” jobs they have created, fire all the slugs who suck down 6 figure jobs but have 30 people doing the work FOR them tha’d save trillions… I have seen first hand all the people that accompany a congressmen or other elected officials and most of them just get coffee or handle bags… if they want to keep big staffs like that fine, pay them outof YOUR salary not our tax dollars…
