Got to the flat around 615. High was at 7. Wondered around for about 25 min before I saw my first fish. He was pretty big. Cast to him he followed for a few seconds then bam he slammed my borski shrimp. I fought him for a few mins before my line snapped, I think it got snagged on a piece of wood. But I got a look at him and he was at least 30 inches. Saw a few others but most were out of my casting reach. Did cast to 2 more but they didn’t want the fly

Yea he slammed it real hard too. I tied on another one and tossed it a few others but no more takers
