Wando -1/20- Fishing with my Daughter

My daughter and I fished the Wando a few hours before and after the high tide. Ended up with 12 reds and 2 nice trout. Most of the reds were rats but 4 nice ones with the biggest 22 3/4 inches. None over slot today. Water cyrstal clear. Caught with gulp jerk baits.

looks like a good day, thinking we might try this weekend

Bragging may not bring happiness,
but no man having caught a large fish,
goes home through the alley.

Beth looks so proud of her fish! Maybe she’ll be ready for some dolphin early this summer if I come back to SC.

Joe, I caught some really nice reds last winter in the Stono but have not gone this season with all the bad reports. Wonder what’s going on? Last winter we caught them up by the docks and schools were going up and down the flats and that was not far from Limehouse.
