Wando 10/16

I took a two person group out this evening and the bite was hot again. The fish have been really aggressive the past month and show no signs of slowing as long as the weather holds. The bait has been a little harder to come by now that most of the shrimp seemed to have moved toward the ocean. There are still plenty of finger mullet and the occasional school of haden out there right now. We managed 8-9 reds, 6 trout and two flounder. We still have dates open for October and plenty for november.

Very nice! We never found any bait yesterday, couldn’t get a bite on artificials. Sounds like we need to hit the Wando.

Nice day! I need to take my trip with y’all soon so I can get some nice fish.

What was the bait of choice? Any on artificial?

The trout and flounder where caught on ZMan paddle tails and the reds where caught on cut bait.

Great pics. I have a few kayak friends here in Georgetown who love to kayak fish. Been planning to come down to Paradise landing to try the reds and trout. Where are you putting in?

Looking good L@S. We didn’t quite have the same luck, spent most of the time getting farrah familiar with paddling and being in the yak. Next goal is to get her on a red. Possibly this friday. I’ll hit you up.
