I made it out a few days this week before the wind and cold showed up.
Headed out weds afternoon with my neighbor it was overcast and a little cold. We fished the outgoing tide until dark and then some we couldn’t leave with the fish biting like they were. We started with some sheepshead between the two of us we caught around 30 fish. All caught on fiddlers with only three keepers between us. Before we headed home we decided to try for a few redfish. We found them and a few black drum as well. All caught on mud minnows and shrimp.
Thursday I headed out on my own for the afternoon. On my way I checked to see if one of our fellow CF members 30.06 was out weve tried to get together a few times with no luck. Luckily today he had a small window for a couple hours so we decided to stay close to the ramp. We fished for sheepshead and did pretty good caught a bunch but nothing with any size. Later on that day on my own again found a few keeper sheeps and a few nice overslot reds. Sheeps caught on fiddlers and the redfish on mud minnows and shrimp.
Friday was supposed to be another nice day I figured I better go with weekend lo
