Wando 11-7

Went out today to catch a few sheepshead I got on the water just before high tide. I tried a few spots caught a few fish and had a couple nice one’s that out smarted me. Sheeps are still my favorite to fish for I ended up with one keeper in the cooler. All caught with live shrimp and fiddlers.

When the tide picked up I decided to try the creeks for some trout and reds. I was fishing some new areas so I moved around alot found a few trout and a flounder but no reds. All caught with Trout Tricks and a 3/8 jig with a white grub.

So I was heading for the dock and decided to try one last spot as the sun was setting. Glad I did caught two nice reds 34" and 35" and had two break off. Both caught with live mullet on a carolina rig.

Man, awesome reds. Looks like they are bulking up for Winter. Hoping that things will slow down some at home so I can take advantage of the hot bite before it starts cooling off.

Yea what they both said! That’s some good fishing!

UP Reds with no spots are kind of unusual I’ve caught several recently. Here’s a link to another no spot red I caught earlier this year.

That’s pretty cool. I don’t catch them like you do so the chances of me snagging one is slim to none. :frowning:
