Caught this 29 incher on the rising tide this morning near Horlbeck Creek, live shrimp under cork. Picked up 11 trout various sizes up to 18" on shrimp/mud minnows under corks.

Nice catch! I still haven’t used cork. Are those supposed to make a feeding fish sound with the waves? Just a popper, beads, and a 18" mono leader?
Jaybeava: that is the basic concept of a poppin cork, pop it a few good times every so often. I am no pro, but i adjust the leader length with the tide stage, a bit more leader on a high tide, a bit less on the low tides. It’s not my favorite type of fishing but when the wife is out with me that pretty much how it goes!!
