Wando 7/23

Made it out for a couple hours this morning with my boy. Great weather- clear skies, calm seas-was nice to catch a day out there without the wind for a change. Fished Horlbeck - last of the incoming tide. Got into a bunch of trout in the 12-15" range with MM under a cork. Once we found them, i pulled out the Trout Tricks- and once again, failure. Man i can’t seem to make those things work. They’re killing me slowly…
( i know, i know- it’s all about the technique. i clearly don’t have it )

Then again, they wouldn’t eat any of my go-to Zmans either.

Onefishtwofish Please give me a call 803-300-2780 and let’s talk technique. Let’s get your son fine tuned.

+1 always willing to help! Great times, I know your son will remember that forever. My daughter always asks when are we going fishing again. And she is a girly girl

Great job! We live in Brickyard and fish that creek often. We mostly just chunk live and cut bait under docks and hope for the best. We havent been doing as well lately and only caught 3 fish this morning. Kids still had fun playing in the boat, but I want to get them on some more fish. Can you give me some pointers on trout fishing, as I have never tried. I remember reading that II need to fish around grass lines, oyster rakes, and creek mouths. Any certain depth Of water i need to focus on? Which part of the tide is usually best for trout? Best bait? Sorry to hijack your thread but you are doing exactly what I would like to do for my family! Thanks for any help you can offer!

Don’t have a knack for makin motors crank,

I’ve caught trout, reds and flounder on the Trout Tricks - squeeze a little pro cure scents on them for best results…I have recently started using them in the fresh water pond behind the house with some pretty good success - caught quite a few bass on them- one which weighed @ 4 lbs.

Hey seawest- sent ya a PM.
Pen- please dont post a report tomorrow with pictures of 10 fatty trout and TTs hanging from their mouths. It might be more than i can handle. Kidding, of course (kinda)- best of luck to you.
As a side note, spoke to Bob on the phone tonight. Great guy- provided some really good pointers that i hope to put to use this weekend to de-skunk the Tricks. Thanks!

Ok…pm me me the tips and I lately to only catch a couple!
