Wando Action

Left Paradise at 545am. 35 degrees!!! But…. Fish didn’t care! 15 trout and 17 reds. Caught the trout on Paul Brown softdine. Creek intersections. Reds on ZMan Mud Minnow at lowtide on that huge flat on the right leaving ramp.

I’ll be putting the SeaArk up for sale soon……getting too old. Time to turn the chapter before an accident happens!!!

Don’t give up yet, and if you don’t mind me asking, how old are you anyway. You certainly look fit enough to handle that boat single handed. Maybe you just need an naviguesser/anchor puller?

Nice report, you must have been a good boy this year, nice pre-christmas present. Thanks for that and for the pictures too.

My Mustang PFD is 10 years old (maybe older) and seeing yours reminded me that santa has me 2 brand spanking new ones under the tree right now. I must have been a good boy too, lol.

gonna be hard to replicate that smile in mid december without a boat, just sayin’

  1. I have a bad back and weak left knee. Old injuries from college that are catching up with me. Plus eye sight and hearing are bad. Loading and unloading tge boat are the scariest part. No balance! Also had several near misses on the water. Just didn’t see/hear the boater.

Thanks for the pics, and report!!

Did your Tohatsu give you any problems, in the cooler weather?

@Mixed_Nutz no it runs great in the cooler months….only occasionally hard to start when temps are in the 90s

Great report. Thanks for that!!

Gotta be a vapor lock…

I’ll see if I can come up with a cure.

If you’re quitting, I was toast 5 years ago

Let’s rethink all this

@PeaPod I wouldnt call it quitting but definitely slowing down…probably move to pier fishing. My fishing buddy of 25 yrs is in Wilmington NC. So I have a life line!

Sounds like a great day! Thanks for the report! Stay safe out there

You youngins are killin me. I’m 62, bad back, knee, etc. Still using my Sea Hunt 172 and my Bentley 240 Fish. By myself.

Not to mention, taking care of my spouse and 5 grandkids, and 46 acres of land and trying to build a house.

Stump knows. Anyone wanna fish, hunt, shoot, lemme know.

I’m a little older but the young bucks always help me out when I’m struggling at cypress and bushy
Don’t give up!

Thanks sman, I appreciate it.

I was one of the OG’s.

I’m more than happy to take anyone out on my boats, or come to my land.

One of my best days, recently, was having Stump come up and shoot.

@bigt7mm Impressive! Keep it going!

Thanks brother, you, too!

I was being a smartass. No offense, and I ain’t all that.
