I do not know who Wiggs is, but why would I believe his assessment about the trout and bass population. Sounds to me as though he is fishing in the wrong places. If you can’t go catch a lot of trout right now and bass I would not take them seriously.

Let me tell you something, I know exactly “where to be” to catch fish!
At the Mt. Pleasant Pier, Saturday, Nov.15. at DNR’s free kids fishing tournament from 8-12. Low tide right around 8, good moon phase, and some of the best youth anglers in the state will be competing. Trophies, prizes, and according to Esquire “the event to attend”
Clemson and Carolina are both away, but some of ya’ll knew that already.

Probably does Adam. Cracks me up that folks complain when folks don’t post pics of their catches, then complain when they do for giving away a spot. We live in Charleston, if you can’t find an uncrowded but productive place to fish here, you’re doing it wrong.
