We started fishing around 11:30 after we found a creek with a bunch of peanut menhaden and Finger mullet mixed together. We fished the remainder of the out going tide and only caught a few stingrays and a 15" spotted Trout (Which was released to procreate, though I do have to say that is a tasty fish). Then we moved spots and 2 hours into the incoming tide we slammed 3 30+ inch redfish, and lost as many. All fish caught on Carolina rig w/ 12" Leader and 4/0 Circle Hooks.
Great looking Fish!!..Why the large 4/0 circle hook??..I always use a 1/0 no bigger than a 2/0!!

Bugs that barge has had fishermen all around it for as long as I can remember. Back in the late 80’s/early 90’s I can remember boats being tied up to it and all the fishermen walking around on top of it fishing down in the holes for crabs and sheepshead. Dad never would let us do it…too dangerous. Hind sight being 20/20…I think he was right
