PLEASE HELP, Going to put in at remley’s with the rest of charleston in the morning and try to put some of my friends on a red fish or trout… although I’m still a beginner myself. I can never seem to find the schools of fish I read about in the creeks so more than likely we will get skunked in the wando and then wander out to the jetties… Cut mullet, crabs, and if I find them live heden… North or South Jetty? Dynamite hole? Help on which bait to use? Im not looking for any secrets just some basic info… My buddy is bringing his wife and hopes this will seal the deal for him to get a boat… dont want to disappoint lol
Yakman speaks the truth. Just follow that advice, during moving water, and you will catch fish if they are biting. If you don’t see them pretty quick, move to another spot.
thanks guys I personally like fishing artificials, more exiciting in the creeks…! Are y’all bottom fishing, popping corks, lures…? anchor up? or Trolling motor? Sorry for so many questions…
1/4 jig head varying between live bait preferably finger mullet but minnows are good as well. And Zman lures. I like to have 2 rods with jig head one for live bait and one for artificials. Also either a popping cork or Carolina rigged rod. Whatever’s working you can transfer. But a jig can be fished bottom and top. Remember circle hooks if its going in the rodholders. Also if you start getting a slow bite done set the hook, could be a nice flounder thistime of year
