Hit the Wando in the late afternoon after school with a good friend, his son,andmy 6 year old son for his first hunt for reds. Caught plenty of bait(that my son enjoyed playing with) and got the first red. My son, with a little help, landed a 27 incher. After that he brought in 6 more all on his own between 16 and 22. I pulled in a surprise flounder (14 inches) and a black drum also. All fish released successfully. Great day on the Wando and my son’s excitement was priceless. Came home and my son could not stop talking about his first trip! Better feeling than any fish I could ever bring in! My brother will post some pics soon.

Nice!! Saw a man with his little boy and girl today at limehouse…about the same age as yours…they were helping hold the boat for their dad …we told them what a great job they were doing and you should have seen their grins!! theirs and their dads 
always makes me smile to see parents taking the time to take their kids fishing! Good job!
