Is there anywhere to get on the Wando in Mt. P/Daniel Island with a kayak other than Remley’s Point? Is there anywhere of Long Point Road? I am trying to find somewhere closer to home so I can squeeze in some fishing after work, and I am hoping for something that isn’t crazy busy.

Nothing public… I have launched at the Dan Island pier wiht no problem, good hard sandy beach. After memorial day it’ll get stoopid wiht stinkpot drivers who don’t have a clue but in that area Remleys is the only public ramp I know of.

Lower Wando hit the launch at the DI pier. There’s a private ramp on DI; I don’t know the annual cost on that one.
There’s the County Park off Long Point, but that’s a long paddle out to the Wando. Private ramp at Hwy 41 and public ramp all the way up at Paradise Landing.
