A little slow, but OK. 6 trout, 6 reds, 2 flounder. All caught on copper-colored grubs. All released except one flounder (gave it to a friend). Most fish looked barely legal (on the small end). Water was dirty, as expected. Oh well, better than not fishing at all.

where on the wando where you? I fished this evening and the water was quite clear compared to earlier this week. We produced very similar numbers with all reds b/t 21 and 27
āThe fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad.ā </font id=āsize2ā> āGo Big or Go Home!ā </font id=āsize2ā>
I was on the south half of the Wando. It wasnāt too badājust a little dirty. Visibility gets to about 3-4 feet in the Wando during the colder months around where I was Friday, but it was maybe a foot or so there that day.
I probably should have fished a little farther north on the main river, but I wanted to hit this spot and didnāt have much time.

Yes. There were too many people on the Wando to do too much spot hopping on Sunday, though (boats everywhere), and I didnāt have all that much time to hunt around, so I just hunkered down and worked that spot for all it was worth for a couple of hours. I was satisfied enough. Tomorrow is another day (and if I could fish tomorrow, it would be even better).

Maybe Iāll head up river a little when I get back over that way. Got a lot of stuff going on right now. I might get out Friday. Not sure. I may end up fishing on this side of town (Johns Island) because of time constraints.
