Wando Thursday Afternoon 9-5

Went out solo this afternoon for a few hours. Made it on the water right at lowtide just before the incoming. I went and filled the livewell at my favorite creek with shrimp and small mullet. Then I made my way to the area I’ve been fishing and noticed on my way several more boats out fishing than I’ve seen the past few weeks. I Got to my spot droped some bait and the fish were biting. My first bite was a 31" redfish that ran me up in the grass and just as I got things back under control my other rod bends over and the drag starts screaming. I left it in the rod holder and dealt with the one I had. When I got him to the boat the other fish was still on so a quick lay on the fish rule and back into the water no photo appearance for that one. I grabbed my other rod and the second fish was just as nice right at 30" what a way to start the day. I ended up catching seven overslot redfish between 29" to 32" and five small redfish between 10" to 15". The last fish of the day had no spot or spots at all only the second one that I’ve caught with no spot. It was really nice out today super flat water no wind and quality fishing!!!

No Spot

No Spot Same Fish with the Flash on it was almost dark out.

Thanks guys the fishing has been great lots of quality fish out there. So much so that I’m leaving now to head out for the incoming tide.

I’m not sure if they were ducks but I saw them several times before I got the camera

Great job, where in the world were you? Going to have and get some shrimp and mullet tomorrow and do the same from my dock. I live on a tidal creek that goes bone dry. About 2-3 hours before low tide, all the big reds start heading back out to deeper water. Yesterday hung a big one on a trout trick, but today nothing, but the water was just rolling with them. It was just amazing to see those big backs coming out of the water.

Keep up the good fishing.

Yeah big dds, you are the man - that was me and my boys - saw you up there and got to work on some of those reds. Never seen so many killer pix of each fish plus background and had to dial in - btw do you have it set up in one cam position? Looks like Cam rapid fire multi pix of same fish twice sometimes? That would be cool to get multi shots of same fish. Anyway, thx for the continue detailed info and pix, ie background - keep taking them day or night, you could print and do like a whole wall collage of the same pose two times. We fryd that sizzly rizzly red limit late night = money.

I would have no skills, mask, eats, yeti, badazz pix facing cam, nasty pix of tails in grass, nada w out chuckfish.com. All my boys too, learnin from me who learnt from this. Why hate?

Why dont you post pix of all fish and platters and I’ll give you mad props too, bo.

Just do what I do Yakman, don’t read any of his nonsensical crap.

redfish aren't silver. And mullet are pretty easy to catch, don't think you need "chuck fish.com" for that
