Fished all day yesterday in the Wando from paradise landing. I had never gone to the right (upriver) from the landing, so I decided to try this area. Managed about five or six trout up there, mostly small. Ended up with two keepers. Paddled back to the ramp to drop off a broken reel, and met up with George (Yellow tarpon 130t). We headed down river about a mile or two and picked up another 5 or six trout with two more keepers.
Fish were caught on a mix of grubs (rootbeer/Chart) and DOA shrimp/popping cork (Pearl shrimp). I would troll with the grubs out, and then go back over the spot and throw the doa when I got a fish. Seemed to work out pretty well.

Didn’t catch the fish in the numbers I was hoping for, and no reds again, but it beats working. Oh yeah, dinner was great, I highly recommend trout florentine.
