I’m looking to get my 6 yr old a youth .243. Wanting to trade a Remington 1100 (manufactured probably in the 80’s) which is in good (not perfect) condition. I’m in the Georgetown area.

Yeh man. He’s been shooting the .22 and has giving himself the nickname “dead eye”. I’d like to ease him into a light .243 load and work our way up.
I got my wife a Stevens made by Savage 2 years ago chambered in 243.(youth model) some where in the neighborhood of 300 bucks. Great shooting gun I’ve been tempted to use it when she dosent go.

Are you still on the market for a 243? If so I am selling a H&R single shot 243. Laminate stocks with National Wild Turkey Federation stamp (not that that makes a difference to me), scope (simmons), sling, and whatever ammo that I have. Good gun I just want to move my kids up to a 308. Asking 250.00 Buds gun shop has it for 276.00 bare rifle.
