Would prefer at least 25 hp, welded. Trying to keep a low budget, but don’t want junk. Looking for low maintenance, not a lot of gadgets. Only exception would be trolling motor on the front, or even just a mount for one would be a big plus.

My dad just got a 1548 welded Duracraft with a 25 Yamaha that he is working on. The hull is stripped now, and it could use a better galvanized trailer. What kind of budget are you looking for, he may part with it prior to finishing it up if that is something you are interested in. The motor is about to get a full service with the carbs cleaned in a week.

Trying to keep it total <5k including trolling motor and floor… you are in cola right? Is your dad close to chs?
I am in Cola, he works in Charleston but lives in MB. The boat is in MB. It wouldn’t have the trolling motor or floor yet, but I will talk to him and see if he is wanting to get it on a good trailer, service the engine and paint the hull and flip it. I am sure it would fall in your sub $5k leaving enough to finish what you want with it. I’ll let you know.

I have a 1997 15’ Sea Ark, not tiller but a 25hp Tracker (Mercury) and a side console/steering with livewell, Humminbird FF and bow mount Minn Kota trolling motor. Might be worth looking at and making an offer. Runs perfect and everything works. Just got my bigger boat back yesterday so would consider selling. I live at Harrys Fish Camp so it would be easy to do an on water run.

90’s 15 foot duracraft w 30 yamaha tiller,ss prop-fast, 2 aluminum props, min-kota turbo pro w auto pilot, quick release mount, garage stored, whole rig used very little and only in freshwater. like new shape. Chapin
