I have a pro-blaster pump that recently quit working. It appears to have steady power going to it(switch lights up on dash). But nothing happens. Before I drop a $100 plus, just getting a few suggestions. Thanks everyone.
Mine did the same thing last year and after standing on my head for 30 min. removing it from the bilge, opening/adjusting the pressure switch and reinstalling, it started working again.
The light only means power is going through the switch, it doesn’t mean it’s actually getting to the pump. I just had a problem that had a light when the switch was placed in ‘manual’, but the pump was not working. Turned out to be a bad ground splice from the pump …
Check your connections it could be a corroded wire not making a connection and make sure you have power going to the pump by checking it with a volt detector also check grounding wires !!!
If those dont work remove pump and check it with a 12 volt battery charger — just to make sure you are geting the volts and double check the pump power
Mine did the same thing. I took the pump housing apart and cleaned it real well.It worked for a while then did the same thing. Repeat first step about half a dozen times. Finally threw in the towel and replaced it (found an exact replacement for cheap when Boater’s World closed). The motor in the old pump works fine…it was just the pump that caused the issue. I saved the motor just in case.

Another $100 down the drain.
Welcome to boat ownership.
This weekend cost me a wiring harnass, a fender, and possibly a whole new tounge for the trailer.
Like McDonalds says, “I’m lovin’ it!”
