I have water in between my floor and my hull. It is taking away from the draft (added weight). What is the best way to get it out, since Mitzi was sold my warranty is no longer. The new company said they would help, but want to try myself first.
Just curious,i have the same boat and wonder how you know water is in your hull?Do you hear it sloshing?Did you drill a hole and water come out, just wondering?
I have a tilt tralior and when I tilt it to wash it out you can hear the water running down. I hope that drilling a hole isn’t the only way to do it.
drilling a hole might be the easiest option, but id rather know “why” instead of a temp fix. and taking off the cap and liner isnt exactly a diy job (for me anyway). Have you checked the Hullcap fittings. water could slide between the liner and hull at this junction when taking spray. does the boat have a bilge area or a scupper floor design?
No Edisto just another one of those great screw ups from the old maker. I have been in touch with the new maker and guess what they said they would be willing to fix it. Not a prick like you.
I havent seen your boat and I know you said someone is going to fix it but do you have flush mount rod holders an/or down rigger mounts on your gunwhale that could be leaking when it rains?
