Water Depths and tides

So I am starting to learn more about trout fishing and have done fairly well in the warmer months, but had a question about this time of year. Do you fish different types of structure on incoming tide vs outgoing ties? I have normally planned my trips around incoming because I was learning my area and did not want to get stuck anywhere so my outgoing fishing experience is a little limited. Do the trout tend to move into deeper holes on the outgoing tide and then move about more incoming tides or is there no real rule of thumb and it is more about exploring and finding the fish. Thanks in advance for any advice.

The answer is yes.Don’t worry about getting stuck, just watch where you’re going and remember where you been.Sometimes you need to slow things down as the water gets cold .Good luck and welcome aboard amigo.
