I have a pair of suzuki df140’s, noticed a good bit of water coming out of the exhaust when running at higher rmps when we were offshore yesterday. It’s happening to both motors, so Im wondering if its normal. The motors sound good, I did feel like the boat was a little slow, but dont know if that was bottom growth or a loss of power… I have never noticed that much water in the exhaust before. Any thoughts?
It’s normal… when the thermostat opens fully " high cruising speed. warm water, high air temp" more water will come out { water cooled exhaust} nothing to worry about. If you see no water coming out …start worrying
