I changed the oil today on a 2002 Mercury 115 four stroke EFI. When I pulled the plug on the oil resevoir there was a bit of water that came out before the oil started flowing out. I’ve had the boat for about a year and a half, last oil change was done at longshore marine about 8 months ago, and it’s run for me without a problem. I’ve changed lots of oil in other outboards and have never seen this before. Like I said, she runs perfect. I know this can’t be good but if the boat runs great now, should I be worried about this? What should be done?
Thanks
if it were a car it would be a blown head gasket.
