Stinky,
I use Seal-Skinz gloves which are highly waterproof but not warm at all even with a liner. Cabelas has 2mm neoprene socks which are very comfortable. They also offer Gore-Tex socks which I also have but do not wear them since the neoprene ones serve my purpose. A pair of paddling dry pants and top are nice for for cooler days. Hope this helps.
My experience has been that Neoprene socks, if not fleece lined, are very warm, until you get water in them so they can work like a wetsuit. I usually wear a pair of Seirus Storm socks. They are a fleece/neo blend and are advertised as waterproof. They do let a bit of water in, but stay warm even when wet. Check out a pair of booties like Chota’s mukluk. They come up just below the knee, are waterproof, and when coupled with a fleece based sock are very cozy.
