Planning going out in the next couple of weeks, what water temp. should I be looking for for wahoo and blackfin? I don’t normally fish this early but seems like I miss out on a good wahoo and tuna bite early in the season.
no expert …but i would look for 68 to 72 degree water especially if you can find a temp change …last time i looked the warm water was way off shore but hopefully some SE wind will push it closer…soon??
it seems the GT hole area takes off first…we caught wahoo all along the ledge,in 2008 from Jan till June…
