How cold is too cold for kings. At what point would it be a good time to start fishing in 50’-70’ for kings?
I think you’ll find a range of opinions on this one. Snakes start getting caught on peirs inshore in 68 degree water. However, many will swear by 72-78 degree water. In regards to numbers and size, I totally agree with that temp range. 72-78 is optimal, regardless of the water depth.
