Fished around the Water Treatment Plant from 1000 to 1330 today. Water temp usually at 53 but some areas up to 54. Caught 9 on planer boards, floats, and downrods. Three were short but I got a nice 24 incher and Patti pulled in a 27 incher. Caught another 4 pound Black Bass for good measure. Spring is coming.

Good job Mike and Patti. I had a great day myself. Fished hollow creek this afternoon and caught a few but I enjoyed landing my personal best ever. A fat 17 lbs, 33 in striper. I wish we had had this one for the tournament! Here is a pic.

And I have seen the eyes roll for the last 2 wks cause I won’t come out of hollow crk. We had some really nice thick marks in there during the tx but they were out in open water and the wind wouldn’t allow for a good bait presentation…lol…nice fish mike and jorge…we are gonna pull some tomorrow. .

Way to go, Jorge. Hopefully more are on the way. As I also got my personal best with you last week, you may need a bigger boat if things keep improving. I do have to say that on our “leisure” outings, my main enjoyment comings from seeing Patti doing her thing, but I still have to tip my hat to Richy, who I understand last year, passed off a 30 pounder to a guest on his boat. Grateful to this forum and the people in the MSC who have helped to increase my nominal skills and made things a lot more fun.
And, Charles, I put the “green” fish back to grow bigger.
Good fish Michael, Patti, and Jorge!! As good an angler as you are Jorge, I find it somewhat hard to believe that you haven’t gotten one that big or bigger until now. Great job to all 3 of you!

Thanks for your words James but I think I’m far from the quality of anglers many of you are! Many of us do better every time because of guys like you, open to share and teach. I’ve fishing for stripers consistently for close to 2 years now. I owe you guys many of my successful trips!! I found that the more I listen the bigger the fish!!
