Water We Doin' 5-16

Finally got in on the crazy dolphin bite…got a late start leaving the dock at 6.30am - lines in by 9am after heading towards the 226. Fished 180 feet and never left that depth. First knock down was within a minute of putting the first bait out and never was able to get all the lines in the water.

Had 10 gaffers biggest #40 in the boat by 11am. Decided that was enough to clean and was back home by 1.30pm.

Kudos to my friends 13 year old son who was on his first trip offshore. He was sick most of the day and still managed 3 fish…twice he heaved over the side while fighting them and kept at it.
