Left though dewees at 4am. Fished south starting at short of the 380 since the waves pushed us that way. Dropped lines in 180 and worked our way further south. Fishing was not red hot but had decent action and brought home 7 phins all good size with the largest around #35. Tossed back a peanut and a lost cuda we picked up in 430ft.
Fought scattered weeds all day. Had just cleared the WB, a blue/white illander, and was about to drop it back when a bill stated slashing it. Sailfish on. Quickly landed it on a 50w which was a first for our lady angler. She had been a bit sea sick but was fine after that.
Pulled lines at 1. Fun day.
