Watermens Report

I love this time of year.

Surf:
Due to all of the storms we’ve had pretty consistent surf since about 4 days before Dorian. Typically waves have been in the chest high or better range. Early morning has been the time to go if you can get it. Looking forward to more with the other storms out there.

Fishing:
Most mornings have been taken up with the aforementioned surf, but I’ve managed a couple early morning trips from the shore. Trout have been hitting top water and reds have been tearing up gulp. All of the trout have been well above 14".

Shrimping:
Two trips to the Harbor have only produced a half cooler on each trip. I’m coming to find out that “mixed” really equals “small”. Nonetheless, it’s great to get out and watch the sunset over the Holy City.

Diving:
I imagine that 30 miles offshore, its been great. But alas, my work keeps me inshore, and it’s like you would expect: just as murky as ever. But hey, at least the water is warm.

What a great time and place to be alive. If you are not out and getting some - go get it.

Narcosis

Not sure how to quote that last sentence of your post yet… but you nailed it! Thanks for the report too!
