Fished my man Karson Corley with his two boys Matt (8yrs.) and Mason (13 yrs.). We started on the 380 line in 300-320 feet by ourselves and stayed there. We were joined by Grant on the Blue Boy and between the two of us we were enjoying some really good sailfishing. After we fought a triple header and Grant had a double on the fleet that started in the 500’s came steaming up on our direction. It was a pretty cool sight to see them all coming, but it didn’t help the bite very much. I don’t think very many fish were caught after we left. Ending hooking six sailfishing and releasing three with Matt and Mason both catching their first sailfish. It was a short day, we only fished from 7:30 til 12 and left them biting. It was a beautiful day out there and the sailfishing was awesome with cutters on the surface and lots of bait from the surface to the bottom. The highlight was the triple header hooked up and catching two. My mate and I were very bummed to have to leave early with such good fishng happening, but it was nice to be cleaned up and done early. Oh yeah, we did missed a couple small dolphin first thing in the morning.
