my Gf and i went fishing for a bit yesterday. it was slow but we did manage an inshore slam. of that we put a nice trout and decent flounder in the livewell to enjoy later.
we headed to shem and docked at Waters Edge and i filleted them up. 15 minutes later we had a big basket of fresh fried fish and french fries in front of us, along with a couple of icy cold beers.
I don’t frequent there as much as I should but it sounds like they have good food. We went to Red’s Saturday afternoon, sat on the deck and had scrimp and po boys. Looked across the creek and wasters edge was slammed. Looked like a good time.
Hoppy, wasn’t sure from your first post - you’re not saying they cooked the fish you caught are you?
i sure was saying that. they will cook your catch for you. not just fried, but anyway they offer it as well (within reason). we’ve even had them fry shrimp for us after shrimping!
mike pendleton is a first class individual and a hell of a fisherman. cooking to order his fellow fishermens catch is just one of the perks of being “connected on the creek”

I was wondering the same thing. That sounds great - I may have to stop by there after my next fishing trip.
Is it like the one at Dunleavy’s? Buffalo wild wing sauce marinade and blue cheese? I could eat those all day
I think we need a bigger boat…
never had dunleavy’s, but like hoppy said it is ground tenderloin with a nice pile of crumbled slightly melted blue cheese. i get mine med to mid rare…it’s very good.
