How sloppy would a NE wind 5-10 with 4 ft seas at 10 seconds be? Looking at that for Monday.

We have a Key west 21’ cuddy. Have been out in some pretty good chop and rollers, but just trying to figure out how this forecast looks for us.

That’s not enough info to estimate the sea state. You need prior wind history and secondary swell info. If it was just 4ft NE swell at 10s it would be fine even in a 20ft CC, but add 10kts worth of wind chop and whatever other potential background wave energy and you have may a different scenario.

I’ve seen a forecast like that (north east) then found it too nasty to go past the jetties. Never trust a NE forecast.

Double the wind forecast and half the wave period on the NE forecast and it will still probably be worse. Have fun.
