Way Inshore Flattie, with the Bow

At Clarks Hill. Drove the Flounda Pounda while my son and buddy manned the bow with the bows. Buddy stuck a biggun not knowing just how big it was for about 10 to 15 mins as it went to deep water. Kept telling him not to put to much pressure on it as I was worried about arrow pulling out. 55lbs, 47". Got some awesome white fillets!

Looks like it was a great night NN, I am also the boat driver while my boys shoot and gig.You probably already know this but the guides at Harrys told me to soak the meat in ice water from a big cat. I can tell you it works and also on big gators.Makes the meat a little less strong. My boys want to shoot everything and get mad when I throttle them back.haha

I bet that was a blast! Congrats!

It was an awesome time. As I followed that cat off the bank, trying to keep it out in front the anticipation was growing. When it finally surfaced it was high fives and more!!

Did a brief ice soak then bagged. Been there on the throttle thing too!
