Busted out the 6 1/2 ft G Loomis 3 wt and Lamson 2 for a day in the small water. PT’s, stone emergers, and egg patterns in dull yellow were the ticket. Caught released 25 or so in about 4 hours. Every pool held a few fish and they were pretty cooperative.
Water was crystal clear, normal to maybe a little low level.
Optiker… I pulled about a dozen out of the big pool at the curve where Widow’s Creek comes in.
