Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

The last time CU won 5 in a row was during the great depression.

Talk about living in the past…

RBF

It was actually 7 in a row. Another thing I noticed while I was looking is that in my lifetime, that little 5 in a row by Carolina is the only time they have beat Clemson more that 1 game in a row! The tigers have beaten Carolina 4 times in a row 4 separate times during that same span and looking like they will add another to that list in a couple years, if not longer than 4!

I will gladly take that 5 losses in a row every 113 years to keep it just like it is! Keep holding on to that 5 wins in the last 7 years thing. It isn’t going to last much longer!

It will last forever, can’t change the past. Gotta own it, and move forward. Based on your lifetime, it must have been very difficult period.

RBF

Nope not difficult. Pretty easy and satisfying really. I didn’t have to wait until I was in my thirties to know what it feels like to actually to be relevant in football or even win 2 in a row against my rival. .

Apparently, you forget, Clemson hasn’t been relevant since Danny Ford. Dabo brought them back. Take a look at final rankings. During your lifetime SCar has been more relevant.

Playing for a NC, doesn’t make a team relevant. Having a history of higher rankings does. In the last 15 years, SCar has been more relevant.

RBF

When has SC been a relevant team in football ever?

I am going to make this real simple.

Apparently, to CU folks, five years in a row. You guys just have to get past it, and move on.

CU just isn’t what it once was, cheaters for the NC. Now if Ford had the team Dabo fielded, he would have crushed Bama.

Get back to cheating, and then get back to bragging. 2nd place is not acceptable in Clemson.

I addressed the 5peat In the first post. It’s cool, it’s impressive, the best and biggest thing that ever happened to SC. I get that. Y’all were good, dominant, and we were out coached. Congratz on the achievement.

So - DW said CU would never loose to SC while he is the qb. He’s got one more game to go to back up his statement. I say he does it.

DW will never be a Charlie Whitehurst with 4 in a row. He knows given the extra game he would prolly lose with the new coach and staff.

Three is respectable, just like Clowney and Connor Shaw.

Let’s just hope DW doesn’t make the wrong life decision based on the desire to beat SCar.

Dick Froth will start his tab shortly and rebuttal. That is SC dominance. Plain and simple

Your same worn out comments shows your lack of originality. Rinse and repeat.

Sure, if you say so, but it doesn’t change the past.

Anything new to add?

Good try RBF. Relevant in college football not your mind! That being said, Clemson has been relevant in college football 2 times now in my lifetime. South Carolina has been relevant ZERO times!!

RBF, dammitt man, will you please give the 5peat the relevant respect it deserves. It’s even more statuesque than when they won their first bowl game, the '95 Carquest Bowl. And they won it in fine fashion by a field goal!

5 peat was only relevant to the state of south carolina and no team that has ever played in the Carquest bowl has been relevant to college football the year they played in it!

They are not relevant but yet you go to great lengths discussing them. Gotcha.

Down here is where a signature goes but they can confuse and anger some people so I don’t have one.

Yes, the '95 Car Quest Bowl was unique especially since it was against West Virginia…

You must really care about Clemson then, with that logic.

Also, what is your definition of “great lengths”?
