We lost a good one this past weekend

For those of you that have fished out of Rivers Edge Marina over that last few years, you may have known Eric Crawford. Young, energetic, down to earth, and loved offshore fishing more than anything. He was a fantastic family man and was diagnosed with a rare cancer in April 2014. He, unfortunately, lost his battle this past Saturday.
Please keep his wife, two young children, and family in your prayers.

That is tough to read, especially with the young children. Have the family in my thoughts and prayers.

Do not tell fish stories where the people know you; but particularly, don’t tell them where they know the fish.

Tragic, I have spent many hours offshore with Eric, for a few summers now. Great person, good fisherman. Very shocking that this happens to good people. Still will never understand why these things occur. Prayers go out.

Rip,

Great customer and even better person. More than just Eric’s business was appreciated at the shop here, and all of HPT sends prayers and some form of peace to all of Eric’s friends and family.
