Hit the Wando first with my oldest youngen and all we found were 8 trout in 3’ of water with tight lips and not wanting to bite well at all on artificial. Plan B went into effect and headed to the near shore reef. Got there and 2 boats were already at work staring hard at lines that weren’t enticing enough to any fish. Well as read in previous posts this girl is not out on the water for a sun tan. She taught the big boys that she is a force to be reckoned with and the weakfish extravaganza began. Fish on ! And on!! And on!!! Repeat this for about 45 more minutes worth while the other boats stared and probably took selfies with her in the back ground with a rod doubled over. The secret this time was the 2 pairs of pajamas she was wearing which were extra festive (her mom thought this would be funny to do to me). Kept our 2 for dinner and released the rest. If any of ya’ll want to go out there this week you may want to wait after a couple day grace period goes by so those released fish will bite again! YS
