Am I wrong? Or has this year been terrible for offshore fishing when it comes to weather?
Seems like about maybe one day a month has been decent for months now.
This isn’t normal is it?
It certainly hasn’t been nice to me, but then again, my karma is lacking a positive side.
“No… it’s okay, I know the way out…”
It always seems to be windy to me. But more likely it is just windy on the days you have available to fish. It’s been flat since Tuesday but not too many people can fish the middle of the week. It’s relative I guess is the answer. I will say it does seem to be a long time since we had those big Bermuda highs setup ridges over the S.C. coast for weeks at a time like back in the early 2000’s. But this is just a subjective opinion not empirically verified with actual data

I’m available to fish any day with a decent weather forecast. I watch the forecast a couple of times a day. There have been very few days this year that were what I would call a good forecast. I’m ready to jump on a good day at the drop of a hat with my own boat. It just isn’t happening. Look at how few offshore reports have been posted. This upcoming weekend is supposed to be a Red Snapper weekend. It looks like crap. We’re going anyway Sunday. It might calm down a little in the afternoon. I hope next year gets better.
