Out in Bulls Bay, terrible out here. Both weather and shrimping. So far got 1 shrimp and he jumped in the boat. Set up behind Bird Island as the wind and waves are too rough. Going to give it about another hour. My advice DO NOT come out today or tonight.
I was out there also. I knew better with a NE, but tried to make the best of a day off. Probably caught enough for a good meal and decided it wasn’t worth the rodeo.
dammit, me and the boys were planning our epical stellar trip for tomorrow…y’all be safe!

St helena is no better, be careful out there
St. Helena sucked Sat. morning. Strong NE wind, rain and very few shrimp. I think all the fresh water ran the shrimp out.
Caught 3/4 cooler Friday night, 1/2 sat night at the sound. The wife went both nights. She drove very well considering the conditions. It was brutal. BTW lost GPS signal several times last night, my buddy boat had the same issue. Would cloud cover cause the lost signal?

Yes it can and does. Just like it does satellite TV. That’s what really ticks me off about the LORAN C system being shut down, it worked with heavy clouds. Right when you need it most the dang thing can lose signal due to clouds
