Has anyone been turkey hunting there? I am curious as to how the DNR manages where you can hunt so as not to walk up on another hunter.

Always wondered about setting up on another hunter as well on public land. As to Turkey’s… they are plentiful in that area. Some beautiful property. Some good fishing as well.
Hunted the Webb for the past two mornings. Didn’t hear any gobbling at all. AS of noon today, only 3 birds logged in, 2 by the same guy. I wish I knew his secret!

Webb is a wonderful place to hunt,Ive been there for opening day for the past 13 years .As to your question when you park at a road that is your place to hunt. As long as you don’t walk to a connecting road you will not be bothered out there its not tne Waterhorn which can be a disaster with people walking up on you
Thanks Greg: I respect all of my fellow hunters and outdoorsmen and would never encroach upon them intentionally. Like you said, if a truck is parked in the area that you planned to hunt, it is off limits, go elsewhere.
Webb is a great place to hunt and just appreciate the outdoors.
