Wed Eve

Went out Wed eve about 7 with Striper Skiff and my Dad. We double anchored on a hump in about 50ft of water. When we stopped screen was loaded with fish and bait Put out about 8 rods Tim said that’s probably the most rods he has ever fished with Lol. Beautiful night on the water but fish didn’t hang around. My Dad did catch his first striper a peanut about 18" .Tim put his Hydro glow out and had bait under the boat but fish seemed scattered. Thanks again Tim you are a class act my friend.:sunglasses:

Yep! 8 rods…you would have been proud of me!

Think we had about 50/50 cut and live. Last couple of times out with bait I had been catching some on cut even while single anchored, so I decided we would go out, pick one spot and double anchor and fish both.

I planned on fishing a little shallower, but we found a good number of fish on the bottom pretty quick in about 50’, so we got set up. Shortly after they totally disappeared. We were already set up and weren’t staying out for long, so we stayed put hoping they would come through again, but no luck.

Had a great time though on yet another beautiful evening.

Good meeting your dad Bill. You’re the one with the crazy work hours, so just let me when it works for you guys and we’ll give it a try again. Hopefully with better results!
