Newbie here. Some buddies and I are thinking about going out to the 226 hole tomorrow but are somewhat skeptical of the weather. I was wondering if any of you more experienced captains could provide some guidance on tomorrow’s forecast.
We will be on a 24.5 Edgewater with twin 150s.
Thanks!!
Bouy weather is a good place to start your research. Can’t imagine the ocean is gonna be very nice after all these storms today but I could be wrong, wouldn’t be the first time

Reefcast is showing tomorrow Noon to be 3 ft, at 6 seconds, with light winds shifting from the North to the East. Sailflow, at 8 AM tomorrow morning is showing why the waves and period are so off despite the light winds . . . . there are very high winds (30+ knots) off Jacksonville to Savannah, and from Myrtle up to the Outer Banks. There is a lull right over us tomorrow morning. My experience says that if this forecast is wrong, it’s gonna be wrong in a bad way, not better. It’s a big chance for sure.

Thanks for the replies. We decided not to go based on a few reasons but these responses definitely helped.
