Decided to go and pull boards a little further west from our normal areas, and we’ll probably continue to inch our way on out west(though I still can’t picture a 13 or 15+ mile one way trip). Never saw any schools breaking the water, but did see fish often enough, some pretty good concentrations. Bite was a little slow but managed to catch 3 shorts, three 21 inchers, and one 25 incher. Not a bad day for us, and it was really nice out.
Congrats. Have had some good reports out of that area. Out in front of the spanish house has been good as well as up into bear crk.

I think Bear Creek will still be comfortably in our range during the colder weather, and I’ve heard that many do alright there that time of year. So we should be expanding our possibilities.
Now we know what to put on our Christmas list. Proper cold weather gear goes a long way to being comfortable, but does nothing for rough water.
