Went out after work with Steverino. Got on the water about 5:30. Lots of bait in Hallmark Shores but not many fish. Went over to beaverdam and noticed 8 boats in a tight group. We went over and the striper were schooling pretty good. Only problem was there were 6 bass boats and two striper boats running and gunning ever time they popped up. We set up about 100 yards from them in the channel and got a limit. Only 3 were legit keepers the rest were small. We pulled up onto one of my favorite 60’ points and the fish vanished. They were only in the deepest part of the channel about 30’ down. We had a couple schools pop up around us but they only stayed up for less than a minute. Shouldn’t be long before the big ones start schooling up. Water was 81/82.
