I had the week off work so I made the goal of catching at least one fish everyday, from river , pond, puddle no matter the weather. So here is how it went.
Monday - went out to the jetties which I hadn’t done before. I was solo and after three attempts at anchoring got the hook set. Wind was NE and after bobbing around for an hour with only a lizardfish, I called it, had to get home anyway. Stopped at a creek and caught one trout on the way back. No pics.
Tuesday - only had about an hour so stopped at a pond with my 5 wt which I recently started using for the first time in a decade.
Wednesday - Kids out of school early so I fished a dock for a couple hours. Caught several small reds
I had the fly rod in the truck from the day before and landed my first saltwater fish OTF
Thursday - raining off and on so went to the neighborhood ponds again.
Friday - back out on boat. Started day with a rock bass then real slow until tide was 1/2 in. Caught about a dozen undersized trout
