Just curious about the boat accident this past weekend in the Stono near Limehouse. Any details? Saw the pictures of the Key West that was involved. Curious how much damage was done to the Scout. Thankful that all survived with only minor injuries.

I heard about this from my son who happened to know both the drivers that were involved. My son found the pictures and story on Facebook. Still have not seen anything on the news or in the paper. Apparently the driver of the Scout has been involved in multiple boating accidents recently.

That doesn’t sound good!
From what I heard (the FB story and comments) is that the KW was idling in front of the landing waiting and the Scout came full bore out from under the bridge and hit the KW broadside in the stern. The KW operator gunned it to keep from getting hit in the middle of the boat. Could have been very bad.
